What are we doing ladies- We are controlling the controllables right! Let’s work today and focus on controlling habits in our home. Today’s focus: the kitchen. How many of you actually write down a meal plan for the week? How many of you actually follow your meal plan for the week? With schedule changes and last-minute plans, it can be challenging to meal plan and stick to a structure but these free worksheets will help you plan, organize, and get focused.

First, we have our Free Meal Planner worksheet. Make a list of the things you are going to cook this week. If you want to print 3 forms one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, please do so. Whatever inspires you to stick to the plan! In our home breakfast and lunch can be pretty much rotation of cereal, waffles, mac & cheese, and sandwiches so they are pretty easy to plan for and gauge.

In the notes section, you can add alternatives for later nights or for those picky eaters. Once you have completed your meal plan for the week start making a list of items you need to purchase to create these meals. Make sure you are checking your pantry, freezer, and refrigerator before making your list and doing a small inventory check before you get started. The goal is to shop on a budget, not purchase duplicates.

Once you have your grocery list I would do a double check to make sure you have not only things you need for the meal plans but also for weekly eating in your family. Example: snacks in my house include rice cakes and Nutella. So I would make sure they are either in stock in my pantry or add it to the list.

Take your list with you to the store or use it when you are ordering your groceries online! Let me know your thoughts and how these sheets have helped you reach your goals!
